Local Technical Assistance Program
PennDOT Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP)
The Cambria County Planning Commission in cooperation with PennDOT has been sponsoring the LTAP in Cambria County since 2005. The LTAP's mission is to share transportation knowledge, improve road maintenance and safety skills, and put research technoligy into practice at the municipal level. LTAP training in Cambria County is held at the Pennsylvania Highlands Community College just outside of Ebensburg along U.S. Route 22. The classes are provided free or at little cost to municipal officials and employees. Morning sessions are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The full-day classes are conducted from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Municipalities in Cambria County will be notified of upcoming courses, scheduled times, and registration proceedures.
