Requirements to Obtain a marriage License:

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. If applicant is under the age of 18, they will need one parental consent. If 15 and under they will need both parents and a Judges consent also. All applicants must have a photo I.D.

If Previously Married :

If spouse has died, date of death is needed. If divorced,a copy of the most recent divorce decree is needed.

Filing fee is $45.00 CASH. If consent is required add $2.00 each.
There will be a 3-day waiting period before the license is issued.
License is valid for sixty days from date of issue.
Genealogy Information:

We have birth and death records for the years 1893 through January 1906. After 1906 records are recorded in New Castle, PA. Before that no record exists. Certified copies of birth records are $10.00 and certified copies of death records are $9.00.  You may also obtain a copy by logging onto  Vital Chek you will need a valid credit card for this service.

Marriage records begin at 1885 to the present time. Some are on microfilm. Computer has years 1993 to present. Photocopies are $1.00 per page and $5.00 for a certified copy.

Estate Records begin approximately 1808 to present time. Some are on microfilm. Photocopies are .50 per page. Computer has years 1993 to the present time.
